Written above is the transcript from a CNN press conference held after Donald Trump clinched the GOP nomination on May 26, 2016. This was President Trump’s first public scrutinizing of Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) for her purported Native American heritage during her 2012 Senate Race. President Trump, both then and now, refers to Warren with the nickname “Pocahontas.” Our President was so sure of the fact that Warren had no genuine Native American heritage that, in July, he publicly dared her to take a DNA test.
“I will give you a million dollars to your favorite charity, paid for by Trump, if you take the test and it show’s your an Indian.”

Well, Senator Warren took the dare and on Monday, she released an official DNA analysis of her genes, demonstrating that she does, in fact, have Native American ancestry. According to the analysis, gathered by Stanford University professor Carlos Bustamante, it was discovered that “strong evidence” suggests Warren’s DNA is of primarily “European descent” while also containing “Native American ancestry from an ancestor in the sample’s (Warren) pedigree 6-10 generations ago.”
Following Warren’s release of her DNA analysis, she tweeted a reminder to President Trump of his promise, and asked for him to send a check to the National Indigenous Women’s Resource Center.
The President tweeted back, Monday morning, that he never said he would pay Warren $1 million for showing her test results.
“I didn’t say that. You better read it again,” he told reporters outside the White House.
Warren, now hypothetically $1 million richer at the expense of a sassy, defected President Trump, is up for reelection in Massachusetts in November and is slotted to win, but many believe that she will run for President in 2020. Warren has gone on record saying that after the midterm elections, she will “take a hard look” at tuning for office.
Sen. Warren responded to President Trump’s devout support of Justice Brett Kavanaugh, despite countless accusations of sexual assault made against the new Supreme Court justice.
“I watched that and I thought: time’s up. It’s time for women to go to Washington and fix our broken government, and that includes a woman at the top. So here’s what I promise: After Nov. 6 (midterm election), I will take a hard look at running for president. I think we can turn this country around.”

Naturally, given the popularity of his “Pocahontas” soundbite at risk, President Trump and his pals indicated early Monday that they would not even remotely consider Warren’s claims and supplemental DNA report.
In light of recent findings, Trump disregarded Warren’s DNA test results on Monday, telling reporters, “who cares?” when asked about them. Kellyanne Conway, one of Trump’s many Jiminy Crickets, told CNN that she “hadn’t looked at the test.” Conway continued, “I know that everybody likes to pick their junk science…but I haven’t looked at the DNA test and it really doesn’t interest me, to be frank with you.”
President Trump promptly responded to Sen. Warren’s comments about potentially running for office in 2020, given that he intends to run for reelection. President Trump stated that he hopes “she’s running for president because she’d be very easy” to beat, continuing to say that he does not believe “she’d be very difficult at all.”
Included in Warren’s realize of her DNA report was a biographical video, one that I believe deserves a damn academy award.
In the film, Warren shows viewed her hometown of Norman, Oklahoma, and tells of the story of how her parents met and how her paternal grandparents opposed the marriage because Warren’s mother was part Native American.
Warren ends her short film by saying, “Trump can say whatever he wants about me. But mocking Native Americans or any group in order to try to get at me, that’s not what America stands for.”
