Did you hear about the restaurant on the moon? Great food, no atmosphere. Well, now that I’ve both peaked your curiosity and grabbed your attention, here’s what you missed from yesterday’s news.
Wait, So Who Represents The US Now?
What an excellent question! Rumors have been circulating for quite some time that President Trump was fed up with multiple members of his cabinet so, naturally, he said, “Yah fired.” On Tuesday, someone actually finagled their way into a proper resignation. United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley actually worked with President Trump on her resignation letter.
Prior to her time as U.N. Ambassador, Haley spent nearly a decade in public service, serving six years as governor of South Carolina. During her time as governor of South Carolina, Haley regularly spoke out against then-Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. During the 2016 campaign season, Haley spoke out against Trump’s plans to ban Muslim individuals from entering the country, asserting that “when you’ve got immigrants that are coming here legally, we’ve never in the history of this country passed any laws or done anything based on race or religion.”
Although she was never quite the fan of President Trump, several days after his inauguration, he appointed Haley to her ambassadorship. In her resignation letter, Haley said that, though rumors have spread about her leaving her position in order to run in the Republican Presidential primary in 2020, she has no intention of running for President. Me neither, girl, you good.

It’s Getting Hot In Here, So Take Off All Your Ozone Layers
A recent report released by the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and Exceedingly Long Names (IPCC) shows that “we only have the slimmest of opportunities remaining to avoid unthinkable damage to the climate system that supports life as we know it.” The IPCC report said, according to analysis done by NBC news, that “at the current rate fo warming, the world’s temperatures would likely reach an increase of 1.5 degrees Celsius (2.7 degrees Fahrenheit) between 2030 and 2052.” The report insists that we must keep the temperature at this level to ensure a reduction in coastal flooding and give people living on the world’s coasts, islands and river deltas time to adapt to climate change.
Word On The Street Is, “The Weiner Is Out”
Former Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY), who was sent to prison last year for sending inappropriate texts to a minor, will be released from federal prison because his texts have been really supportive lately. In 2017, Weiner was sentenced to 21 months in prison for sending naughty messages to a teenage girl and his initial release date was not supposed to be until late 2019, the New York Post reported.
In September 2016, The Daily Mail got the inside scoop on the Weiner files, thus prompting a criminal investigation of the Weiner and his laptop. Soon after, Weiner plead guilty and his wife/aid to Hillary Clinton, Huma Adebin filed for divorce.
