As a financial writer, I personally enjoy observing stocks that trade on momentum first and fundamentals second. Riding the wave is the name of the game for me and understanding what causes the groundswell is very important. It helps you understand why a specific stock or sector is making its move. I studied finance in college and applied that to my writing. Fundamentals are just as important as momentum in my opinion. Understanding how to apply it to investing is key. Personally I call Miami my home but came from New York. I've been writing about the financial markets for over 10 years.
